Course Fees

Regular Course Fee:  $555        Early Bird Fee: $530

Intensive Course Fee: $1070     Early Bird Fee: $1020

Special Course Fee: $455         Early Bird Fee: $430

Immersion weekend: $280 (early bird not available)

A non-refundable $50 late fee is required if you are signing up after the registration deadline.

Deutsches Haus accepts payment only by Visa, Master Card or American Express. Cash payments are not accepted. Payment must be submitted at the time of registration. Only those who have paid in full will be admitted to the classes.

Registration Procedure

Please register ONLINE or with our PRINTABLE registration form, which should be faxed to (212) 995-4327 or scanned and e-mailed to deutsches.haus@nyu.edu. Signature on printable form required.

 

Please read the refund and cancellation policy below before you register.

 

Your registration automatically enrolls you in the class. You will receive a registration confirmation e-mail as well as a payment confirmation e-mail. In case no e-mail address is available, the confirmation will be sent out by regular mail. If you wish to switch to another class and space is available, you must request it in writing (deutsches.haus@nyu.edu) before the second class meeting. We cannot accept sit-ins.

Placement Exam Fee refund

In case you were charged for taking the placement exam, you are entitled to get a refund of the fee, when you register for a course. ONLY refunds claimed on the registration form will be granted.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Students
There is a non-refundable registration fee of $80. Refunds will include tuition minus the non-refundable $80 registration fee and the $50 late fee. Refunds will be issued to all students who cancel in writing by

by the refund deadline , which is always before the second week of the term. Sorry, we cannot accept cancellations by phone or mail. Students will receive a written confirmation from us by fax or email within 24 hours of their cancellation (Monday-Thursday 10am-4pm or by noon the next business day). If you do not receive confirmation within this timeframe, please contact us immediately.

We cannot grant refunds for registrations received after the refund deadline.

Once a student has registered, if we do not receive a cancellation by the refund deadline the entire tuition amount is due and non-refundable. We cannot prorate classes or transfer unused class time to another semester.

Cancellation by Deutsches Haus
In the event that Deutsches Haus cancels a course, all students will be notified by the first day of classes. If we are unable to place you in an alternate course, all payments will be refunded in full.
