4 Week Intensive German Course at a Goethe Institute in Germany
Any 4-week period between May 2010 and January 2011


Deutsches Haus offers annual intensive language study fellowships at a Goethe-Institut of your choice in Germany. Each May one or two students receive a language course scholarship. 

 

WHEN: Application deadline is May 3rd, 2010. Timeframe for these courses is from May 2010 until the end of January 2011. Available cities / courses can be found at http://www.goethe.de/ins/de/spr/int/i4/deindex.htm

WHO: Deutsches Haus students (must have been enrolled within the present academic year) level A2.1 (level 3) and up may apply for the fellowship.

HOW: Interested students from levels A2.1 through B1.2 should write a short essay of 200 words in German, students from level B1.3 and up should compose an essay of 300 words. The essay should explain why you would like to improve your German. It could be about why you are interested in the German language, aspects of your personal learning experiences or your goals. These essays should be mailed to Tina Samartzi at fs41@nyu.edu.

WHAT: The language fellowship covers following costs:

Intensiv 4 course (4 weeks - not including any optional excursions or events), accommodation, meals, partial travel cost, health/accident and indemnity insurance for the length of the course (including travel dates) and some pocket money.

Gab es Unterrichtsstunden mittags, die erlaubten, dass wir eine Bustour oder ein Spaziergang im morgens durch geschichtliche Nachbarshaften, Museum der Kunst oder der Geschichte, und zur Galerie gehen konnten...
