DH Kids

When you come to the Deutsches Haus, you will notice all our teachers & staff work here, because we love the Deutsches Haus. There is a warm positive energy, that fills the air with constant encouragement.

Our children's program started as a small private instruction group, that developed into the large language program we currently offer.

Our classes cater to both bilingual German children as well as beginners. There are many couples, where only one parent speaks German, making it more difficult to speak & practice German at home with their child/children.  Coming to the Deutsches Haus on a weekly basis provides a clear plan, that parents can use to practice throughout the week at home. 

Returning again this year will be our kids cultural program.  We will host story readings, movies, Fasching, St. Martin's Day Lantern making and parade around Washington Square Park & other Holiday inspired arts & crafts sessions. 

We look forward to another very exciting year with the DHKids Program at the Deutsches Haus!
