COURSE INFORMATION:

Deutsches Haus offers Regular and Intensive Courses, as well as Special courses and Immersion Weekends. We also offer a Children's Language Program. The duration of all courses is 10 weeks. Immersion weekends are completed in one weekend.

Regular courses cover one level and meet once per week with a class length of 2h 30min (total of 25 hours per course).

Intensive courses cover two levels and meet twice per week. Class length is 2h 30min (total of 50 hours per course).

Special courses are topic-related and meet once per week. Class length is 2 hours (total of 20 hours per course).

Immersion weekends are also topic-related and meet on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Class length varies. (total of 10 hours per course).

Daytime classes start at 12:00 pm.
Evening classes start at 6:00 pm.
Saturday classes start at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.

A minimum of 8 students must enroll in each course for it to be offered. Deutsches Haus offers courses on a non-credit basis only, although in some instances academic credit may be arranged with a partner institution. A certificate of attendance is available upon request.

All classes are held at Deutsches Haus or in nearby NYU classroom facilities.
