Tina Samartzi Bio
Tina Samartzi is part of Deutsches Haus since January 2005. As a greek native, she was born and educated in Ulm/Germany. After receiving her B.A. in German Language and Literature from the Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, she earned a B.A. in Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpretation from the Ionian University of Corfu, Greece.
She taught German as a Foreign Language at Language Schools and Public High Schools in Greece, as well as a Private Instructor (1989 - 2003). She first worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Deutsches Haus and as of July 2007 she holds the position of the Language Program Coordinator. In addition to her main responsibilities as the Head of the Language Program she is occasionally teaching childrens' courses, as well as Beginners' and Intermediate adult classes. Furthermore she is the Exams Manager, as Deutsches Haus is a licensed Goethe-Institut Examination Center.
